This Agreement is effective on April 1, 2018, for all current and future users.


Customer means a person or entity who reserves and/or books one or more services offered on the website

Courses means the offering of bookings for training.

Get UK Qualified means Food Watch Ltd

‘Service’ means a service offered on the website, such as the booking of training services and assessment services with training providers.

‘Supplier’ means a supplier of services, such as a trainer, tutor or training provider/centre.


These Terms of Service apply to offering and providing of the services by the operator of this website which acts as an interface between the customer and the various training providers.

The Terms and Conditions can be changed by us at any time without prior notice, although such changes will not apply to bookings that have already been accepted by us on behalf of the training providers concerned. It is therefore essential that the customer reads, saves and/or prints a copy of the Terms and Conditions at the time the booking is placed, in order to be aware of the provisions in force.

Exclusion of Third Party Rights – no term of this Agreement is enforceable under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by a person who is not a party to this Agreement.

Each party confirms that no term of this Agreement is enforceable under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by a person who is not a party to this Agreement.

The Customer’s legal authority

The website helps the customer to find training and to make the necessary bookings, and acts as an interface in the transactions involved with training providers. The customer must be at least 18 years old, be legally authorised to enter into contractual obligations, have the requisite consent or authority to act for or on behalf of any persons included in a booking and must use the website in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

The customer is responsible for his / her activities on the website, including the possible use of his / her user name and password. The customer agrees that the information entered by him / her on the website in relation to him / her is accurate.

Any use of the website that is fraudulent or is in conflict with these Terms and Conditions shall be reason for refusing the customer access to the services offered by Get UK Qualified and the training providers or to the other functionalities of the website.

In these Terms, “we” means Get UK Qualified and “you” means the person or business that purchases delegate places on courses at the training providers premises and/or online courses, as set out in the booking. We do not always provide the courses, the training provider does, so your contract is with them, not with us. We process the payment for a fee from the learning provider. We take no responsibility for the standards of training supplied by its training providers who are approved by Awarding Organisations. Any issues regarding the standard of training should be forwarded to the relevant training provider not to us as we act as the referral organisation not the training supplier. Your training providers details will be provided to you upon booking of your training via email.

Using Our services​

While using our website site and services, you will not:

  • post inappropriate content on our site;
  • violate any laws, third party rights or our policies
  • use our sites, services or tools if you are not able to form legally binding contracts, are under the age of 18, or are temporarily or indefinitely suspended from using our services;
  • fail to deliver payment for a items or services purchased by you
  • manipulate the price of any class or interfere with other listings;
  • circumvent or manipulate our fee structure, the billing process, or monies owed to us
  • post false, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory content
  • post personal information
  • take any action that may undermine the feedback systems
  • transfer your account (including login details) and user ID to another party without our consent;
  • distribute or post spam, unsolicited, or bulk electronic messages
  • distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm us or our users
  • copy, modify or distribute rights or content from our sites, or our copyrights and trademarks; or harvest or otherwise collect information about users


Please report any problems, offensive content, and policy breaches to us.

Without limiting other remedies, we may limit, suspend or terminate our service and user accounts, prohibit access to our sites and their content, and services , delay or remove hosted content, and take technical and legal steps to keep users off the sites if we think that they are creating problems or possible legal liabilities, infringing the intellectual property rights of third parties, or acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of our policies

Additionally, we may suspend or terminate accounts of users who may infringe intellectual property rights of third parties. We also reserve the right to cancel unconfirmed accounts or accounts that have been inactive, or to modify or discontinue websites and services.

Electronic Communications

Visiting or sending emails to us constitutes electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications and you agree that all communications that we provide to you electronically, satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Your account

If you use our services you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You may not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person or entity. We are not responsible for third party access to your account that results from theft or misappropriation of your account. We and our partners reserve the right to refuse or cancel service, terminate accounts, or remove or edit content in our sole discretion.

We do not knowingly collect, either online or offline, personal information from persons under the age of 18. If you are under 18, you may use our services and/or website only with permission of a parent or guardian and our prior agreement.


In order to secure your training, you must pay us or the training provider appropriate costs in full, or subject to agreement, in part.

Customers may apply for a place on the course with our training providers via the website interface and pay premium price on the day of training course to the training provider.

Customers will be allowed to join the training depending on the size of the class available, if the course is full, customers may be asked to attend the following course.

Where a training course is offered at a discount from our list price, the discounted price offered is subject to payment with booking and availability of training.

We reserve the right to change prices without notice.

It is a requirement for the student to communicate effectively in English, to comply with this the trainer may assess your level of your English before the start of the course.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

If you need to cancel or amend the course booking

  • If you need to cancel or amend a confirmed booking, cancellation/amendment charges may incur.

It is a requirement that you provide ID on you at all time during your training. If you do not provide the required ID for your course, you will not be allowed to complete

  • If you need to cancel your course, you will not receive a refund.
  • If you have paid a deposit and fail to notify of non-attendance, you are not eligible for a reschedule. The you will not receive a reimbursement of your deposit and the remaining payment will be due.
  • In the event of non-attendance where payment has been received, you will not be eligible for a refund.

In-house courses

  • Courses arranged specifically to train staff members or candidates from the same organisation fall in this category. Full Payment must be received 5 working days before course start.
  • In-house course bookings are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation by the customer or failure to make payment in full.

If a course is run exclusively for an organisation at a training provider’s premises, on a customer site or any other alternative venue – the same refund terms apply.


 “Content” includes, without limitation, videos, audio recordings, written posts and comments, information, data, text, photographs, software, scripts, graphics provided, or otherwise made accessible by us. For the purposes of this Agreement, “content” also includes all user content

i.e. All content added, created, uploaded, submitted, distributed, or posted to the services by users whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, is the sole responsibility of the person who originated such content. You agree that all content, accessed by you using the services is at your own risk and you will be solely responsible for any damage or loss to you or any other party resulting therefrom. You may delete or remove your own user content, either yourself or through a request made to us. When your user content is deleted, it will be removed from the services in due course.

Our services may contain content specifically provided by us, our partners or our users and such content is protected by copyrights, trademarks, other proprietary rights and laws. You shall abide by and maintain all copyright notices, information, and restrictions contained in any content accessed through the services.

Subject to these Terms of Service, we grant each user of the services a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable and non-transferable license to use (i.e., to download and display locally). Use, reproduction, modification, distribution or storage of any content for other than personal, educational use is expressly prohibited without prior written permission from us or from the copyright holder. You shall not sell, license, rent, or otherwise use or exploit any content for commercial use or in any way that violates any third party right.

By submitting user content through the services, you hereby do and shall grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable license to use, edit, modify, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, perform, and otherwise fully exploit the content in connection with the site, the services and our businesses, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the site or the services (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels (including, without limitation, third party websites).

You confirm that you have all rights to grant such licenses to us without infringement or violation of any third party rights, including without limitation, any privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, or any other intellectual property or proprietary rights.

We do not guarantee that any content will be made available on the site or through the services. Further, we have no obligation to monitor the site or the services. However, we reserve the right to (i) remove, edit or modify any content, at any time, without notice to you and for any reason (including, but not limited to, upon receipt of claims or allegations from third parties or authorities relating to such content or if we are concerned that you may have violated these Terms of Service), or for no reason at all and (ii) to remove or block any content from the services.

Limitation of Liability

You will not hold us responsible for other users’ content, actions or inactions, or courses they list. We have may not have control over and do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of courses advertised, the truth or accuracy of users’ content or listings, the ability of educators to offer classes, the ability of students to pay for classes.

We do not guarantee continuous or secure access to our sites, services or tools, and operation of our sites, services or tools may be interfered with by numerous factors outside of our control. Accordingly, to the extent legally permitted, we exclude all implied warranties, terms and conditions. We are not liable for any loss of money, goodwill or reputation, or any special, indirect or consequential damages arising, directly or indirectly, out of your use of or your inability to use our sites, services and tools.

Regardless of the previous paragraphs, if we are found to be liable, our liability to you or to any third party is limited to (a) the full cost of the training course (including any applicable tax) and its original costs, (b) the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the action giving rise to the liability.

Access and Interference

Information on the sites is sometimes updated on a real-time basis and is proprietary or is licensed to us by our users or third parties. You agree that you will not use any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access the sites for any purpose without our express permission.

You will not:

Take any action that imposes or may impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure; copy, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, or publicly display any content (except for your information) from the sites without the prior express written permission of us and the appropriate third party, as applicable; interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the sites, services or tools, or any activities conducted on or with the sites, services or tools; or bypass our robot exclusion headers, passwords or other measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the sites.
